Who Takes My Money is run by Gilbert Aguirre, a licensed insurance agent with 30 years of experience (CA License #0B81811, also licensed in TX, FL, GA, NC, and OH), in partnership with Trio Insurance & Financial Services of Oakland, California.
Why is it free? Because we're insurance agents. If we save you money on your auto or home insurance, that's how we earn. Everything else on this site — the tips, the math, the Owl Report — is our gift. No catch, no paywall, no selling your information.
Our honesty rules: every savings figure on this site is a typical estimate with a range, never a promise. Sometimes we'll check your rates and tell you that you already have a good deal. We'd rather tell you the truth and earn your trust than stretch a number and lose it.
